Recipe Sharing Guidelines

Last updated: October 23, 2026

StayWell lets you share recipes from your cookbook with friends and family, by text message or however you like to share. Our goal is for every recipe shared through StayWell to be one people can confidently share and enjoy. These guidelines explain what's okay to share.

What you can share

Please only share recipes that:

  • You created yourself.
  • Are family recipes that you have the right to share.
  • You have permission from the owner or publisher to share.

What not to share

Please do not share recipes copied from websites, blogs, meal kit services, cookbooks, Pinterest links, magazines, or other sources unless you have permission to share them.

Recipes imported into your private cookbook from external sources are intended to help you organize your own personal collection. They should not be shared with others through StayWell unless you have the appropriate rights or permission.

Before you share

Whenever you send a recipe to another person, StayWell will ask you to confirm that you created the recipe or have permission to share it. Answering honestly keeps shared recipes trustworthy.
